What next….

at the start of the journey of making my blog……

The possibilities are endless.  I really like that I can use the blog to generate ideas from multimedia sources just as a I would from a static picture in activities such as Writer’s Notebook.  I am thinking in my mind that acoss the school this could really be powerful with children to guide real inquiry learning but I think that at Prep I would need to work with the whole class on tasks.  I want to formulate surveys for children to respond to about themselves and their own cultures.  Perhaps with a cultural food tasting activities the children can respond to what they liked and what they didn’t.  Shared writing could take place on our blog rather than on the board however I would love it if there were no limits on the font so that I could include Vic Modern to help the kids.

This could be utilised with our buddies more effectively for students to work individually and I am thinking about how our sister school relationship and projects could grow endlessly from this.  We could also use this to really inform parents of what we are doing in our class including having specialists add things to the blog.   This could be a way of linking the learning from the classroom to the specialists in a more effective way.

And the list goes on…………..
